Never Say Never Again (1983)

My IMDb Vote : 2/10
My Peanuts : I guess, one has to endure movies like these so that one can enjoy movies like these.

I agree with you. Years back, when I watched Never Say never Again, I quite liked it. I saw it again last night, and I was very disappointed. It looked dated. Sean Connery looked tired. And Fatima Blush is just not as vicious as Xenia Onatopp or Electra King.

I guess, action movies that rely more on visual treatment and less on the plot will inevitably suffer from viewer fatigue when a spanking new version comes.

Good to see you drop by. I agree with you about the viewer fatigue bit. Just wonder what the current Bond movies will look like in 20 years' time.

I have seen bits of this movie as recently as a few years ago, and I was amazed that I didn't notice then how old and tired Sean Connery looked in this comeback role.

Ahem. Can see that you've plugged in Spy who shagged me very cleverly in this post. Still rooting for the mole and Ms Graham I see. :)

Nice to see you here Bacchus.
