"Pride and Prejudice" (1995 - mini series)

Can't enough of it. Have watched two other versions (Pride & Prejudice and Bride & Prejudice) but I can very confidently say that this is by a mile the best adaptation of the book. Jennifer Ehle is charming as Lizzie and Collin Firth has made Darcy's shoes very difficult to get into. The ones most enjoyable were Benjamin Whitrow (as Mr. Bennet) and Alison Steadman(as Mrs Bennet).

Verdict: Jane Austen can rest peacefully in her grave.
