days of being wild (1991)

one of wong kar wai's n christopher doyle's earlier works. the candid-style camera work (still) looks edgy but lacks the duo's trademark 'artistic beauty'. the depressing lives of the 4 characters further drops the film. overall a downer but for the last 3 minutes where one can see wang kar wai's true style emerge :)
