Once upon a time in America (1984)

How does a gangster grow up? Does he go to school? Does he have crushes? How does he make friends? And parents? What do the parents have to say about their ‘chosen’ profession? Sergio Leone, James Woods and Robert Di Nero try and answer such questions. The 2-DVD set does tax your patience and the film does have some flaws. But what the hell? It’s a nicely made gangster flick. MY IMDb rating: 6
